We’d love to say our packaging was inspired by Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans — but the truth is a little more mundane.
As the project gained momentum, we quickly discovered that ordering bespoke cardboard tubes takes over three months, unless you're willing to use air freight (which isn’t exactly eco-friendly).
Desperate for a faster alternative, our packaging supplier showed us the tin cans he normally sells to the food industry. We got a sample — and oddly enough, it fit our perfume bottle perfectly. It also happened to be a fairly sustainable option: aluminium is endlessly recyclable. We had a good laugh about the connection to Italian supermarket aesthetics, and just like that, our packaging was born.
We’re not the first to put perfume in a tin — Jean Paul Gaultier did it first. But we’re probably the first to do it out of pure desperation.

Not just a simple black cap. Most perfume caps are made of multiple materials, often including hidden metal weights, which makes them difficult — or impossible — to recycle. Our cap is mono-material, made entirely of polypropylene (PP), with an innovative high-density PP weight inside. Fully recyclable.
