KENTUCKY TOBACCO ABSOLUTE (Nicotiana tabacum L.) from Tuscany

With Siena, we travel to Tuscany to celebrate Kentucky tobacco, a key ingredient that has shaped the region’s identity since the 16th century.

The story begins in 1815, when a batch of Kentucky tobacco left out in the rain developed a unique aroma, giving rise to the renowned Toscano cigar.

Cultivated using traditional methods, the leaves are slowly dried to reveal their signature smoky aroma and naturally fermented to soften bitterness while developing a rich, complex bouquet.

From these carefully selected leaves, extraction with organic solvents and ethanol washing produces the precious absolute: a warm, honeyed blend with hints of hay, plum, and earthy undertones, resting on a leathery, spicy, and animalic base that brings depth and lasting character.
