From March 27 to 29, Narici takes part in SCENT, a three-day immersive experience dedicated to the relationship between fragrance and nature, presented by Fondazione Sozzani.
Hosted in Milan at Via Bovisasca 87, this first edition brings together a selection of some of the most interesting independent perfume brands in Europe, alongside a program of talks, workshops and sensory experiences exploring the cultural and emotional dimensions of scent.
Curated by writer and educator Marco Martello, SCENT is conceived as a space where perfumery moves beyond the product and becomes a language—capable of connecting memory, perception and environment.
A curated program of talks and encounters
Across the weekend, SCENT hosts a series of public talks dedicated to the role of fragrance as a tool for interpretation, expression and connection.
The program opens on Saturday morning with a conversation on perfume as a “compass” for orientation, featuring anthropologist Annick Le Guérer and perfumer Aurélien Guichard, among others.
Later that day, a second panel explores how scent can unlock emotions and relationships, bringing together voices from writing, sociology and independent perfumery.
On Sunday, discussions continue with themes such as desire, attraction and the more instinctive dimensions of olfaction, followed by a closing talk focused on fragrance as a form of catharsis and creative rebellion, featuring artists, writers and perfume founders including Meo Fusciuni.
Workshops and sensory practices
Alongside the talks, SCENT includes two hands-on workshops designed to engage participants directly with scent and the body.
On Saturday, a session on functional beauty therapy led by medical and wellness practitioners introduces an integrated approach to skincare and wellbeing.
On Sunday, a composition workshop by AFM Atelier Fragranze Milano offers an opportunity to explore the fundamentals of building a fragrance.
Both workshops are ticketed, and all proceeds are donated to Fondazione Mente, supporting initiatives dedicated to children and adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
We'll be there, will you?
Throughout the weekend, Narici is present with its collection, offering visitors the possibility to experience the fragrances directly and engage with the creative process behind each composition.
The event provides a context where perfume can be approached not only as a finished object, but as the result of research, transformation and dialogue with raw materials.
